MINAC MEETS WITH HIS PERSONNEL
It was on Wednesday February 25,2026 in the exposition hall of the national museum that the honorable Minister of Arts and culture communed with the personnel of the central service of the ministerial department of which he is in charge.
This very important meeting had two major points on its agenda :
- The proper implementation of the structuring of the artistic and cultural movement
- The organisation of the national day of arts and culture.
The Minister of Arts and Culture made a proposal for the structuring of the artistic and cultural movement in Cameroon. The law was enacted on 20 July 2020 giving him the authorisation to continue with the vision. Since then, a lot of work has been ongoing;
- The sensitization seminar with cultural actors
- The production of referential documents
- The production of the supervisors manual etc
It's time for implementation .
MINAC called on all his personnel to align themselves to the vision for the work is much. Everyone should be part of a committee that will have to go to the field to begin the implementation process. These committees will equally work for the organisation of the national day for arts and culture.
The sub committees for structuring:
-Standards and membership
-Inventory of living heritage
-Preparation for implementation of the structuring
-Construction and establishment of structures based on the law of 20 July 2020
-Development and creation of cultural and creative industries
-Organisation of the National Day of Arts and Culture
With these subcommittees put in place, the art and culture actors will be recognized through federations, their work will have better impact, it will facilitate funding of activities and projects and the national cultural and artistic heritage will be more visible in the national territory and on the international scenes
The important meeting ended around a beautiful buffet offered by MINAC to his personnel.
